Team highlight - Met Police

This Met Police!

They are our only returning Police boat entry!

They are comprised of a few now retired members and some still serving.

This years Met Police team started racing together way back in 2006, with five of that original  crew remaining involved throughout.

The team have raced most years since then, apart the odd work commitments such as the London Olympics, Covid and the Kings Coronation - all reasonable excuses ! They enjoyed success in several of their own Met Police Offshore regattas, as well as the Police Sailing UK championships, often ending up towards the front of the fleet.

Since 2017 they’ve been regulars at UKFSC and although they’ve fared less well they’ve still thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, socialising and competitive racing.

This year sees the Met switching to the Fairview fleet with an Asymmetrical Spinnaker and again looking forward to participating in both the daytime and evening fun.
