There was some great racing and memories from our Championship this year. We hoped you enjoyed it as much as we all did! Here is a snippet of Mark’s favorite moment from 2024!

My favourite race moment of 2024. Splitting from the pack! Race 4 saw Modernistic Lady returning to the start line late, on a port tac and looking for a hole in the fleet that was not appearing.

We split from the fleet and crossing the start line in last place, not the best position to be in. Unhindered by the jostling of the main fleet, and working the tide and wind shifts, by the end of the first beat we managed to round the windward mark in first place. Being chased hard by the Spinnaker fleet who were closing the distance. Using some slick crew work and maneuvering we held off the challenge from Hampshire Zer0 to cross the line with only a couple of boat lengths to spare.
