Nomad Sailing

Owned and run by Jim Barden and his sister Lou, Nomad Sailing is a RYA Recognised Training Centre offering practical sail training, sailing adventures and shore-based theory courses in London, Gosport and Online.

Established in 2008, Nomad aims to give sailors and prospective sailors the opportunity to learn and refine all the navigation skills needed on the water, a thorough grounding in the 'rules of the road', detailed knowledge of buoyage, lights and shapes and an understanding of safety at sea, all in the comfort of the classroom. They offer RYA Theory qualifications in:

• Day Skipper Theory

• Yachtmaster Theory

• VHF SRC radio,

• RYA First Aid

Along with shore-based courses, Nomad offers practical RYA courses including:

• Start Yachting,

• Competent Crew

• Day Skipper

• Coastal Skipper

• Yachtmaster prep.

As well as adventure cruises, mile building Channel hops and family sailing weeks.
